The Barkalow Family :

Meet the Barkalow Family. After their oldest son came home from school heartbroken over a classmate being placed in foster care, Dave and Laura decided they would become foster parents. Much to their surprise, their first placement became their forever family. They adopted the sibling set out of foster care, taking their family of five to a family of eight!

“Funding Love gave us something that we could never have managed on our own, but it was something we desperately needed as a family; the chance to get away from our ridiculous schedule and just connect as a family. I’ve seen a difference in my kids since we’ve been home that I never expected. I see my 15 year old playing basketball in my driveway with my six year old. I see my 11 putting away her phone and curling up on the couch with my 4 year old. They’ve always loved each other, but I think that they needed a reminder that it’s worth putting down the school work and the activities and the business to just be together.”
