Just like Walt knew it would take people to make his dream a reality, we know that Funding Love can’t create amazing post-adoption experiences alone. That’s why we have Magic Makers!
Magic Makers are volunteer, on-site assistants that help create the most positive and memorable experience possible for our Funding Love Adoptive Families and Birth Moms. Disney Magic is definitely real, but we also know that sometimes life just happens; bags go missing at an airport, first-timers get turned around and can’t find their way to a dining reservation, or kids meltdown in the park and need to go back for a rest at the resort.
That’s where our Funding Love Magic Makers step in!
How it Works:
Our Funding Love Magic Makers are vetted Disney experts with hearts for the adoption community. They stay on-site at the same Walt Disney World Resort as our Funding Love Families, and their trips include:
Room and Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort
Park Tickets for Length-of-Stay
The Disney Dining Plan for Length-of-Stay (or Disney Gift Card equivalent for meals)
Round trip airfare
Magic Makers have the option to pay their own way via donation to Funding Love, or to fundraise their way via Facebook. All donations made towards their trips are 100% tax deductible.

This was a trip that was made even more magical with the expert guidance and love from Victoria, our Magic Maker. She somehow knew what needed to be done and in what order, where all of the bathrooms were, went on a mission to find missing ears that were lost, loved on my children as they were her own, and was gracious enough to listen to me, as adult conversations are much needed and appreciated.

Each day went super smoothly and we would never have made it on a single ride (literally) without our park expert and Magic Maker, Ashley. She is amazing! She finds lost wallets, lost phones, fixes broken gift cards, shares desserts, shares snacks, hunts down bathrooms, and kept us laughing and moving along all day. She knows where the best snacks are, & which color of popcorn is the best!

I truly do not know what we would have done without a Magic Maker. Millie was our lifeline. We still would have had fun if we didn't have her help, but I would have been FAR more stressed, confused, and we would not have been able to fit as much in. This was hands down the best addition to our trip. Even families we know who have done Make A Wish trips to Disney did not have this and were incredibly stressed trying to figure out where to go and what to do next. I cannot stress enough how important this part was to our family!

The Magic Makers were SO HELPFUL! I honestly couldn't even imagine doing this trip without Victoria. She was there to help us get where we needed to be, find wait times for rides, get to our reservations, hold a child, ride a ride with a child, push the stroller, get us a drink at the hotel, etc... Literally whatever we needed she took care of. She put our needs over hers the entire trip, and I just can't say thank you enough to her and express how special she was for us and how much we love her.
